Role Overview
MHCEG is seeking an experienced Senior Architect to lead architectural design and delivery across local and international projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing high-quality architectural solutions, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with design intent, technical requirements, applicable codes, and international standards.
The Senior Architect will be responsible for leading design development, overseeing architectural documentation, coordinating with structural, MEP, BIM, and specialist disciplines, and supporting the organization's continued growth and international project capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead architectural design development from concept through detailed design and construction documentation.
- Manage and coordinate architectural deliverables across multiple project stages.
- Develop design concepts, presentations, technical drawings, specifications, and architectural documentation.
- Coordinate architectural design with structural, MEP, landscape, interior design, BIM, and specialist disciplines.
- Review project requirements, client briefs, applicable building codes, regulations, and design standards.
- Ensure architectural solutions meet project objectives, quality standards, budget requirements, and agreed schedules.
- Lead design coordination meetings and resolve technical and architectural issues with multidisciplinary teams.

- Support project teams during tendering, construction, site coordination, and technical review stages.
- Conduct design reviews, constructability assessments, and quality-control checks.
- Mentor and guide junior and intermediate architects while supporting continuous professional development.
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery.
- Support business development activities through design presentations, proposals, project interviews, and architectural capability demonstrations.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of architectural standards, workflows, templates, and best practices within MHCEG.
- Evaluate and implement emerging architectural technologies, sustainable design approaches, and digital design tools.
- Represent MHCEG professionally in meetings with clients, consultants, authorities, and international project partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Professional architectural registration or certification preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and related architectural design and documentation platforms.
- Strong understanding of BIM-enabled architectural workflows and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Knowledge of international building codes, standards, and architectural practices.
- Strong understanding of design development, construction documentation, and technical detailing.
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles and contemporary architectural practices is preferred.
Experience
- 5-8 years of professional architectural experience.
- Minimum 3 years in a senior architect, design lead, or architectural leadership role.
- Proven experience leading architectural design and delivery for complex projects.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing architectural deliverables.
- Experience with healthcare, airports, mixed-use, commercial, hospitality, or large-scale developments is preferred.
- Experience working on international projects or with international consultants is an advantage.
