We are looking for a Senior Architect for a government-affiliated entity based in the UAE.
Location Sharjah, UAE
Salary 20,000-30,000 AED/month
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture (Master's preferred).
- Minimum 15 years experience, with 5+ years in senior architectural coordination and site roles.
- Strong UAE experience with local authorities and construction practices.
- Proficiency in BIM/Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and UAE regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead architectural design reviews and ensure compliance with the company's design objectives and technical standards.
- Oversee consultant coordination and regulatory approvals during design stages.
- Supervise site architects and manage execution of architectural and fit-out works on site.
- Coordinate material selection, faade systems, and interior fit-out detailing.
- Engage with Sharjah authorities (Municipality, SEWA, Civil Defence) for permits and clearances.
- Support tendering activities including BOQ and specification review and subcontractor evaluation.
- Ensure quality control, mock-up validation, and adherence to IFC drawings during construction.
- Manage handover documentation, authority approvals, and DLP rectifications.

- Timely completion of architectural reviews and approvals
- Compliance with regulatory authority requirements.
- Quality and timeliness of construction deliverables.
- Reduction in design-related RFIs and NCRs.
- Successful handover with minimal DLP issues.
