Senior Architectural Engineer
Location: Dammam, Saudi Arabia
Our client, a leading real estate developer, is seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Engineer to join its Design & Project Management team. This role is responsible for leading architectural design coordination, technical reviews, and site supervision activities across large-scale development projects, ensuring the successful integration of architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality, coordinated, and technically compliant designs while supporting project execution from design development through construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the review and coordination of architectural designs with structural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines.
- Manage architectural design development using Revit and ensure BIM coordination across multidisciplinary teams.
- Review and validate curtain wall, façade, and shop drawings to ensure constructability and technical compliance.
- Oversee finishing works and material selection, ensuring alignment with project specifications, design intent, and quality standards.
- Provide technical support and design clarification to site supervision teams throughout the construction phase.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal project teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Review architectural technical submissions and provide recommendations on design coordination, material approvals, and façade solutions.
- Ensure all architectural deliverables are completed in accordance with project schedules, company standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in architectural design, coordination, and site supervision.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in façade systems, curtain wall design, and finishing works.
- Strong expertise in architectural detailing, material selection, and construction methodologies.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM coordination.
- Strong understanding of architectural specifications, technical coordination, and multidisciplinary design management.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders while maintaining high standards of design quality and technical compliance.
Preferred Background
