Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare the Architectural scope for a wide range of industrial infrastructure projects, including production of technical reports, design briefs, specifications, drawings, schedules, contract documentation and the like.
  • A strong passion for sustainable design and innovative architectural practices.
  • Self-motivation and a strong enthusiasm for architectural practice, focusing on creating innovative and functional building designs.
  • Responsible for ensuring technical quality, coordination, integrity and cost effectiveness of designs produced.
  • implementation of BIM on projects when required.
  • Follow design guidelines, standards, and procedures to effectively execute assigned work.
  • Interface with other members of the design and management team on multiple discipline projects including with the Global Delivery Centres when required.
  • Adhere to assigned budgets and schedules.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical and commercial proposals.
  • Check compliance with Quality, Safety and Environment goals.
  • Quality Assurance Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Worley Quality Management System.
  • Safety Responsible for personal safety and implementing safe working practices.
  • HSE Understand and follow HSE procedures.

Job Specific Knowledge

  • Experienced of working on architectural projects, ensuring high-quality design and sustainability principles.
  • Experienced with British, European and International standards and other architectural practices
  • Experienced in working over the whole lifecycle of a project including concept, FEED and Detailed Design.
  • Experienced in dealing with a variety of clients including developers, government bodies and EPC Contractors.
  • Strong passion for sustainable design and innovative architectural practices.
  • Competent in the use of industry software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
  • Experienced in working with Company BIM standards complying with ISO 19650.
  • Experienced in collaborating closely with other offices, interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders to meet project objectives, timelines, and budgets.

Qualifications

  • A relevant Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture
  • Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartership preferable

Job Specific Experience

  • Relevant design experience in a range of industrial infrastructure project
  • Preference will be given to candidates with:
  • Experience working in the Middle East.
  • Experience in industrial infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in port and harbour projects.
