Your Role
As an Architectural Project Manager with a focus on delivery, you will take a leadership role in orchestrating the successful execution of architectural projects across various scales and complexities. Your responsibilities extend from initiating projects to ensuring their timely and budget-conscious completion. Collaborating with a team of design professionals, your role is pivotal in driving projects that not only meet but exceed client expectations. We will be working on a big, exciting project and we hope that you have developed project management skills on an exceptional level, and that you possess a talent for design. Ideally, you are a combination of an excellent architect and high-level project manager.
What You Will Do:
- Take charge of day-to-day project delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines, deliverables and budgets.
- Prepare, communicate, and monitor project work plans, budgets, and deliverables for both client and internal teams.
- Develop and foster positive relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities for further demand for architectural services.
- Stay informed about clients business objectives, plans, and industry trends, aligning project strategies accordingly.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams, ensuring clarity in requirements, deliverables, and visibility against project fees.
- Prepare and negotiate proposals, contracts, and consultant agreements for a review by the managing director.
- Manage coordination with various consultants, including structural, MEP, lighting, AV, landscape, civil, and others.
- Actively take ownership of problem resolution, consulting with Studio Director as needed.
- Provide valuable input to project reports and staffing meetings, enhancing the studio's delivery and financial objectives.
- Review internal project accounting documents and oversee draft project billing processes.
Your Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Architecture.
- Design Management and Project Management experience is essential. PMP certification is a big plus.
- 10+ years of experience in architectural project management.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in all phases of architectural projects.
- Proven ability to deliver excellent client service and account leadership.
- Proactive and adaptable with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in project programming, space planning, and high-level design competence.
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations.
- Proficiency in Revit.
- Experience in managing consultant teams and resolving complex technical and design issues.

- Recruiter interview (40 minutes)
- Managing Director 1 interview (30 minutes)
- Managing Director 2 interview (30-40 minutes)
