Main Purpose:
The Senior Site Architectural Engineer will lead the architectural engineering aspects of our residential and commercial projects, ensuring the highest standards of design, quality, and compliance. This role requires a dynamic professional with a keen eye for detail, strong project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage architectural engineering tasks for site residential and commercial projects.
- Coordinate with site manager to ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Develop and implement project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Day-to-day management of the site including labor force, plant and the work of any subcontractors.
- Assist the Construction/Site Manager in the execution of daily works.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the technical office team.
- Survey the site and ensure the site has been levelled properly according to the project drawings.
- Ensure that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications and budget constraints.
- Ensure all design work conforms to the codes and standards used by the client, or to agreed industry standards.
- Advise on the selection and application of various finishing materials for both internal and external works.
- Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in material use and finishing techniques.
- Review and approve architectural plans, specifications, and drawings.
- Keep accurate records, including a diary, of all site activities.
- Implement and oversee site projects assigned to ensure smooth project execution.
- Facilitate effective communication between all project stakeholders.
- Manage internal and external contractors well to ensure quality of work and scope of work is within specifications.
- Responsible for all inspection activities being carried out.
- Perform any related additional tasks as required.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering Architecture
- Minimum of 4+ years of relevant working experience.
- Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
- Experienced in the successful delivery of Grade A construction projects.
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results.
