We are looking for a suitable candidate for one of our leading Real Estate Developer clients for the position of Senior Architectural Technical Engineer, supporting a landmark high-rise tower development in the Riyadh Region.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in high-rise tower projects, architectural technical engineering, BIM coordination, shop drawings, technical detailing, and multidisciplinary coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review architectural design drawings, finishes, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with approved design standards and project requirements.
- Prepare, review, and coordinate architectural shop drawings in line with the approved design intent, BIM-coordinated model, and site conditions.
- Prepare and maintain As-Built drawings for architectural works to support project documentation and final handover.
- Prepare and verify BOQ quantity take-offs for architectural and finishing works to support procurement, tendering, and variation/change order evaluations.
- Lead architectural BIM modelling, coordination, and clash detection with Structural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines.
- Review material submittals, mock-ups, and finishing samples for technical, quality, and aesthetic compliance.
- Coordinate with interior design consultants and specialist finishing teams to ensure effective technical integration of architectural finishes.
- Provide technical support to site architectural engineers on complex detailing and construction-related issues.
- Ensure architectural works comply with the Saudi Building Code, Civil Defense requirements, and applicable international standards.
- Support the development of standard technical details, drawing templates, and specification libraries.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, BIM teams, and project stakeholders to resolve technical queries and design coordination issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in architectural technical engineering and project execution.
- Mandatory experience in high-rise tower projects.
- High-rise tower experience gained anywhere within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in BIM and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Proven experience in architectural shop drawings, technical detailing, BIM modelling, clash detection, BOQ take-offs, material submittals, and As-Built documentation.
- Strong knowledge of architectural finishes, construction details, and technical documentation.
- Good understanding of the Saudi Building Code, Civil Defense requirements, and applicable international standards.
