About the Role
The Senior Architectural Technologist will play a key role in the technical delivery and construction-stage support of complex architectural projects. The position requires a highly skilled technical professional capable of leading documentation packages, coordinating consultants, and supporting teams on site to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical delivery of projects from detailed design through construction
- Produce and coordinate comprehensive construction documentation, technical details, and specifications
- Manage and coordinate consultant information across structural, MEP, and specialist disciplines
- Ensure compliance with UAE building regulations, authority requirements, and approval processes
- Review shop drawings, RFIs, and material submissions to maintain design intent and technical quality
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, and clients during construction phases
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Support BIM workflows and ensure high standards of Revit-based documentation
- Assist in resolving on-site technical and construction challenges
Requirements
- Degree in Architectural Technology, Architecture, or a related discipline
- 812+ years of professional experience with a strong focus on technical delivery
- Demonstrated experience on large-scale, complex architectural projects
- Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and detailing
- Experience working in the Middle East, with strong knowledge of UAE regulations and authority approvals
- Advanced proficiency in Revit; strong BIM coordination experience
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines
- Strong communication and coordination skills
