Responsible for managing and controlling the company's fixed assets register, ensuring accurate capitalization, depreciation, compliance, reporting, and strong internal controls in line with IFRS/GAAP and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and monitor the fixed asset register, including capitalization, transfers, disposals, and adjustments.
- Oversee depreciation processes and reconcile related accounts.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP and internal accounting policies.
- Lead physical asset verification and resolve discrepancies with business units.
- Implement and monitor internal controls over asset acquisition, tagging, and disposal.
- Prepare asset-related reports for management and auditors; support audit requirements.
- Support SAP asset module enhancements and maintain master data integrity.
- Provide analysis on asset utilization, impairment, budgeting, forecasting, and KPIs related to asset management.
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) preferred
3-5 years of experience in fixed asset accounting or financial reporting
