Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate - Mechanical to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for leading mechanical engineering projects, providing technical expertise, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions for our clients.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex mechanical systems and components
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards
- Conduct detailed engineering analyses and provide technical recommendations to optimize system performance
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical designs with other engineering disciplines
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to team members
- Develop and maintain client relationships, participating in client meetings and presentations
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices
- Contribute to business development efforts by supporting proposal writing and cost estimations
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master's degree preferred
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in mechanical engineering or related field
- Advanced knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices
- Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven experience in design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and sustainable design practices
- Experience working on projects in the Middle East region is a plus
- Willingness to travel within the UAE and occasionally to other countries in the region
