Senior Automation & Business Solutions Engineer

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Analyze, design, develop, and implement business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Jira, and related technologies.
• Configure and support Jira projects, workflows, forms, permissions, automations, dashboards, and reports based on business requirements.
• Provide technical support to Power Platform and Jira users, troubleshoot application, workflow, automation, and integration issues.
• Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to gather, understand, document, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Manage the complete solution lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design through development, testing & deployment.
• Develop reusable components and best practices for Power Platform and Jira solutions.
• Support Power Platform governance, including environments, security, permissions, solution management, deployment, and application lifecycle management.
• Develop and execute test plans, coordinate UAT, resolve defects, and document implemented solutions.
• Monitor existing solutions, investigate incidents, and implement enhancements to improve reliability and user experience.
• Work with internal teams and system owners to support integrations between Power Platform, Jira, APIs, databases, and other enterprise applications.

Job Specifications

Qualifications - Education / Certification /Soft Skills & Behavioural Competencies

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information system, Engineering, or any relevant study
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in business applications, automation, or software solutions.
• Good understanding of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.
• Strong hands-on Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps & Power Automate) is mandatory.
• Experience with Jira administration/configuration, including workflows, issue types, custom fields, permissions, automations, dashboards, and reporting.
• Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, SQL/databases, and system integrations is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Power BI, Dataverse, Co-Pilot, UiPath, Salesforce or other enterprise applications is an advantage.
• Knowledge with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
