Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain the full Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) stack, including Controller, Private Automation Hub, and Execution Environments.
- Build Event-Driven Ansible (EDA) workflows to enable auto-remediation based on real-time alerts.
- Develop, review, and maintain high-quality Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Ansible Playbooks and Roles.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins) to streamline patching and deployments.
- Enforce governance and best practices across Git version control, testing (Molecule), and RBAC security.
Technical Requirements (Must-Have)
- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) (enterprise platform experience is mandatory).
- 4+ years of advanced Linux experience (RHEL/Unix) with strong Shell scripting skills.
- Proven experience with Event-Driven Automation (EDA) or integrating Ansible with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Riverbed, SolarWinds, or Cisco ThousandEyes.
- Strong experience integrating systems using REST APIs.
- Expert-level knowledge of Git (branching strategies, merges, pull requests).
- Solid understanding of security and secrets management (Ansible Vault, HashiCorp Vault, identity management).
