Role Purpose / Summary
The Senior Business Development Executive is a high-impact, customer-facing role responsible for driving revenue growth through consultative selling of learning solutions. This role combines strategic account management, business development, and partnership building, with a focus on expanding existing client relationships while acquiring new accounts.
You will play a critical role in understanding customer needs and aligning them with the organization's learning solutions, driving growth in both revenue and customer base, and providing market insights that help enhance offerings and improve the overall customer experience
Scope of Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Growth
Drive sales to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Lead end-to-end business development activities including prospecting, client meetings, proposal development, negotiation, and closure.
Conduct effective needs analysis to position the company's solutions as value-driven and outcome-oriented.
Account Development & Upselling
Manage and grow existing client accounts through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Develop strategic account plans to ensure year-over-year revenue growth from key customers.
Open new revenue streams within existing clients by identifying emerging needs, new departments, and additional business units.
New Business Generation
Identify and target new business opportunities within various industries.
Open new accounts through proactive outreach, partnerships, and networking channels to establish sustainable business and create long term customer relationships.
Build a strong pipeline of potential customers aligned with the company's strategy
Market Intelligence & Insights
Analyze market competition and provide insights on differentiation strategies and emerging L&D trends.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to share client feedback that drives innovation and improves customer and learner experiences.
Contribute to the design of go-to-market strategies, promotional campaigns, and client engagement activities.
Project & Stakeholder Management
Manage large client projects, coordinating effectively with internal functions such as operations, product, and facilitation teams to ensure successful delivery.
Build and maintain strong relationships with all key stakeholders, internal and external, to ensure client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related fi eld.
Minimum 4 years of experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably within the Learning & Development, Consulting, or HR services sector.
Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets and managing key accounts.
Strong consultative selling and relationship management skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Deep understanding of corporate learning solutions, customer challenges, and the L&D landscape in Egypt.
Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, with strong presentation and communication skills
