As we enter our next phase of growth, we are looking for a visionary Engineering Manager to lead our technical teams and bridge the gap between complex logistics and cutting-edge AI.
What We Are Looking For
- You have deep experience building robust backend systems that handle real-time messaging at scale.
- You've spent significant time in the trenches with the Meta Graph API (WhatsApp, FB, Instagram) and know how to handle webhooks, rate limits, and message queuing.
- You understand that in communication, milliseconds matter. You build for low latency and high availability.
What You'll Do
- Lead the development of our unified communication engine, integrating WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram into the Fincart ecosystem.
- Design and maintain high-performance NestJS/Node.js microservices that power our chat and notification solutions.
- Implement and optimize message queues (like RabbitMQ or Redis) to handle thousands of concurrent events and webhooks.
- Collaborate with the AI team to deploy chatbots and automated response systems that live within these social channels.
- Ensure 99.9% uptime for business-critical notifications (tracking updates, payment links, and support).
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend development experience, with a heavy focus on Node.js and NestJS.
- Proven Experience with Meta APIs: You have successfully shipped solutions using the WhatsApp Business API, Facebook Messenger, or Instagram Graph API.
- System Design: Deep understanding of Webhooks, Pub/Sub architectures, and Socket.io for real-time bi-directional communication.
- Database Mastery: Strong experience with MongoDB (indexing, aggregation) and Redis for caching and session management.
- Scaling Knowledge: Experience handling high-traffic environments and an understanding of how to manage API rate limits from third-party providers.
- Bonus: Experience with Twilio, MessageBird, or building In-App chat from scratch.
