Job Description

Responsibilities

Prepare high-quality specialty coffee beverages, including espresso-based drinks, manual brews, and signature beverages
Perform daily coffee calibration, grinder adjustments, and quality checks to ensure consistency
Lead floor service operations, ensuring smooth guest flow and top-tier hospitality
Greet and serve guests professionally, offering recommendations based on deep product knowledge
Support and mentor junior baristas and waitstaff in specialty coffee techniques and service standards
Coordinate between the bar, service team, and kitchen to ensure seamless communication
Maintain strict cleanliness and hygiene standards across bar and dining areas
Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, brewing equipment, bar tools, and floor supplies; report shortages promptly
Ensure proper maintenance of coffee machines, grinders, and brewing equipment
Assist in training new staff on specialty coffee preparation, service etiquette, and brand standards
Manage opening and closing duties for the bar station and floor
Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve service-related concerns
Support shift planning and staff allocation as needed
Assist in POS operations, payments, and daily cash reconciliation
Uphold all brand, safety, and hygiene protocols in line with UAE F&B standards

Skills & Qualifications

24 years of experience in specialty coffee, including dial-in, latte art, manual brewing, and coffee knowledge
Experience in a waiter/head waiter or supervisory role within F&B
Strong understanding of coffee origins, roasting, extraction theory, and specialty standards
Excellent guest service, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to multitask between bar operations and floor responsibilities
Knowledge of UAE hygiene and health & safety regulations
Proficiency with POS systems and basic cash handling
Positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and attention to detail
