JOB PURPOSE
Assure that the information produced by the project BIM team is compliant with the project specs
Roles & Responsibilities
- Directly contact with the project team to communicate and solve the technical issues.
- Check the project documents (Contract, Codes, Specs, Drawings and BOQ) in order to ensure the compatibility of the engineering scope.
- Adhere to BIM Execution Plan and BIM project workflow criteria.
- Create and update BIM templates
- Setup the central file including the required parameters and sub templates
- Audit the quality of 3D models and ensure its compliance with the BIM modeling standards.
- Review the clashes detection reports and solve the engineering issues prior to the commencement of site execution.
- Review the 4D Scheduling / Simulation Models. (specified for the responsible of BIM 4D only)
- Verify the 5D Model extracted quantity and cost modules. (specified for the responsible of BIM 5D only)
- Automate Engineering and BIM activities to support department productivity. (specified for the responsible of BIM Development only)
