Kasrawy for the Automobile Industry Industrial Zone October, Giza, Egypt

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead quality assurance activities within the Body Shop (BIW, welding, hemming, framing, and sub-assemblies).

- Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, OEM-specific requirements).

- Monitor body shop quality KPIs, analyze trends, and drive corrective and preventive actions.

- Conduct root cause analysis using quality tools (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, SPC, FMEA).

- Manage non-conformities, internal/external defects, and customer complaints related to body shop processes.

- Support new model launches, process changes, and engineering modifications from a quality perspective.

- Collaborate with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance, and Suppliers to improve process capability and robustness.

- Perform audits (process, product, layered process audits) and follow up on action plans.

- Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce defects, rework, and scrap.

- Mentor and support junior quality engineers and inspectors in the body shop.

- Ensure proper documentation, control plans, and quality records are maintained.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.

- 3-5 years of experience in automotive manufacturing quality, with strong exposure to Body Shop operations.

- Solid understanding of welding processes, BIW structure, dimensional control, and fit & finish requirements.

- Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, 8D).

- Experience working with OEM quality standards is highly preferred.

- Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP preferred)

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.

- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
