Role Description The Senior Business Process Management Developer (WebMethods) is a full-time hybrid role based in Cairo, with a mix of on-site work and work-from-home flexibility. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing business processes using WebMethods and related integration technologies to support the company's and clients digital solutions. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing existing processes, identifying areas for improvement, modeling and documenting workflows, and developing integrations between systems and applications. The role involves collaborating closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and other technical team members to translate requirements into scalable, efficient process solutions. The developer also monitors process performance, troubleshoots issues, ensures compliance with security and data protection standards, and contributes to continuous process improvement initiatives.

Overview:

We are seeking a Senior BPM Developer with strong hands-on experience in Software AG WebMethods to design, develop, and deliver BPM and integration solutions. The role involves working with cross-functional teams to implement APIs, integrations, and automated workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and model business processes using BPM/BPMN best practices.

• Develop, deploy, and maintain integrations on WebMethods (Integration Server, Designer, Universal Messaging/Broker, API Gateway, Trading Networks).

• Build and expose APIs (REST/SOAP), handle XML/JSON transformations, and implement messaging (JMS).

• Implement business rules, data mappings, error handling and retry strategies.

• Perform unit, integration, and performance testing; support deployment across Dev/Test/Prod.

• Produce technical documentation (design specs, API docs, runbooks).

• Troubleshoot production issues and provide operational support.

• Follow coding standards, version control, and CI/CD practices.

• Collaborate with business analysts, QA, and project managers.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with WebMethods platform.

• Strong experience with integration patterns, APIs (REST/SOAP), JMS, and XML/JSON processing.

• Working knowledge of databases and SQL.

• Familiarity with CI/CD, version control (e.g., Git), and deployment processes.

• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Good communication skills in English and Arabic.

• Experience in outsourcing or multi-vendor project environments is a plus.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Performance Indicators:
