To set and ensure effective implementation of strategy and plans for the Portfolio of Beauty brands in order to achieve desired market share, revenue, profitability, brand image and market reputation for the products and the business
Strategic Roles and Responsibilities
• Develop and implement business strategy for the Brand Portfolio contributing to the overall growth of Al Tayer Beauty.
• Establish annual budget with clear monthly / annual sales and profitability objectives for the Portfolio and ensure its implementation
• Ensure optimum level of operational efficiency to achieve financial KPI's through corrective actions or critical decisions taken in a timely manner for effective business performance, whilst identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
Functional Roles and Responsibilities
• Review and monitor sales plan implementation and results, to ensure sales budgets are achieved and ensure that corrective actions are taken in a timely manner for effective business performance.
• Prepare advertising and promotional outlay plan for the brands adhering to guidelines from Principals, in order to achieve sales growth/ market share for the said brands.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with key external parties (local and overseas) to facilitate smooth business negotiations when required, to enable sharing of ideas and market knowledge and utilize these contacts for business advantage and positive publicity.
• Support the Distribution GM in preparing business plans and negotiations to acquire new ventures/ brands/ product lines in order to ensure the achievement of growth plans of Al Tayer Beauty.
• Remain abreast of international and local trends in the perfumes and cosmetics industry through visits to principals and participation in various forums. Recommend ideas for reorientation in sales and marketing strategy in order to adapt to changing market needs.
• Prepare reports for submission to Distribution GM, identifying competitors activities, market developments and opportunities whilst formulation of budgets of ensuing year and internal business plans
• Provide leadership and direction to the team towards the achievement of goals and objectives
People Management Roles and Responsibilities
• Guide and motivate subordinates to enhance performance and produce quality work, and ensure retention by continuously developing them for higher level roles
Years of Experience
• 8-10 years experience in a similar role across Brand Management, with previous experience in a multi-brand environment
• Experience in the perfumes and cosmetics industry is essential
Knowledge and Skills
• Extensive knowledge and experience of the luxury Beauty industry, particularly in the international/regional/local markets.
• Excellent/high level networking skills to build and maintain relationships with key accounts and Principal/stakeholders/business partners.
• Proficient in English language, Arabic would be an advantage.
• Should be able to communicate effectively and have excellent negotiation skills
