Job Purpose
Bajaj Finance Ltd.s TICC – Tech Innovation and Collaboration Center is one of its kind Tech lab and experience center set up in Pune. The person will be responsible for co-designing, enabling and running of this innovation center where tech exploration knows no bars. The position is responsible for tracking new technology developments in areas of interest to the organization to ensure that it maintains a technological edge within the industry, analyzing and improving upon technology standards and maintaining organizational awareness of new technologies. Continuous research and experimentation with futuristic and progressive tech and solutions. Coordinate with Primary Tech Partners for forward looking R&D, prototyping and solutioning.
Create new sourcing opportunities, provide support for feasible ideas, ensure that there is collaboration within all levels of an organization making sure promising projects / fintech solutions get well understood and adopted. Manage Events and Visits (Inward & Outward facing & Industry Events). Conduct product workshops and demos post-implementation.
Duties And Responsibilities

Manage Events and Visits (Inward & Outward facing & Industry Events). Knowledge sharing and tech evangelism by contributing to Knowledge HUB, and executing Tech events, meets & workshops.
TICC activities
- Lead and assist in execution of our Innovation Strategy
- Lead the Innovation Portfolio verticals
- Startups Cohort identification and management
- Coordinate with Primary Tech Partners for forward looking R&D, prototyping and solutioning.
- Scout and engage with Fintech & Startups for relevant innovative and cost-effective solutions
- Commercial negotiations with shortlisted potential startups for onboarding.
- Deal sourcing – proactive outreach to organizations to assess interest in funding and partnership opportunities
- Primary and Secondary research papers and case studies, demos, workshops
- Develop and Manage Innovation & Tech marketplace pipeline on floor
- BFL Events, Startup Days hosting; conduct events with external institutions
- Manage the Innovation Center, Tech, Projects and Partners
- Assisting in drafting long range strategies for organization
- Participating in Industry Tech events
- Engage internal Partners / Stakeholders
- Stakeholder management – internal business stakeholders as well as OEMs, Primary Tech Partners and Startups (Sales, Product, Tech, Finance & CXO)
- Prepare Presentations and reports on TICC activities and initiatives for management reporting and reviews
- SharePoint site building for team and initiative documentation
- Creative ideation and contributions for Annual Operating Plans (AOPs)
IT & Business Solutions R&D
- Own and lead Tech R&D initiatives – Proactive & on-demand research and development, evaluating solutions and technologies
- Research and be aware of latest trends and technologies in Fintech / BFSI / New & Deep Tech areas
- Willingness to test and evaluate new and emerging AI tools to assess applicability for organizational use|
- Work with internal business stakeholders to understand, gather and map requirements for technology solutions
- Helping senior management and internal clients to understand the results and implications of tech & Innovation initiatives
- Meet organizational needs and capitalize on potential new products and service opportunities
- Should demonstrate knowledge of product features and ability to design, build, and develop a new product, technology, or service from concept through to production
- Demonstrate knowledge of methods and tools of research and development and ability to conduct daily and strategic work in an organization's research and development department
- Along with partners / solution companies design working prototypes / POCs of a variety of proposed products or services to prove or disprove validity of proposed products
- Conduct product workshops and demos post-implementation
- Post-implementation tracking – monitor go-live milestones and measure success ratios against agreed KPIs
- Ability to roll-up sleeves / hands-on nature is key
- Monitor any developments in the research area and work out how these may affect the organization
- Technical Interactions with vendors or partners in technical capacity for deliverables (proof of concept etc.)

Required Qualifications And Experience
- Qualifications
- Postgraduate from a leading institute with Experience minimum 3-6 years of having leveraged technology for achieving KPI's and driving technology innovation (BE./B.Tech/MCA /MBA)
