Senior Business Analyst

ROLE PURPOSE :

The BA to play a crucial role in shaping the user experience and capturing the interface design of front end applications. This role combines knowledge of prototyping, collaborating across teams, user feedback, and design excellence to develop the best-in-class application at the bank by collaborating with product teams to leverage user feedback to gain insights into requirements, trends, and habits, to inform design decisions and enhance user experience.

Analyze and articulate all IT related requirements initiated by the business and document these in a clear and concise manner. This could be by way of creation of detailed business requirements, flow charts (where needed), Mockups/wireframes or any other tools used by the organization. The candidate should be able to suggest solutions to improve the existing processes and guide the businesses to maximize the usage of the existing business systems.

The BA will act as the bridge between IT and Business units and work together as a team and ensure that the solutions provided to the business are optimally used and suit their requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIES :

• Expertise in Banking domain with hands on in Corporate Banking, e-Channels, Cash Management, Payments.
• Expertise in writing Requirement documents like BRDs, Use Cases, EPIC/User Stories in Business and Technical language.
• Exposure in preparing user manuals, process flow diagrams on Product processes.
• Hands on in Visio or similar tools to design the Business model, Architecture, Solution diagram.
• Hands on in Techno Functional role to understand Business requirement, underline solution, possible implementation, identify limitations.
• Good exposure in prototype features and designs from high-level requirements to support agile prioritization, discussion, and delivery.
• Nurture design standards by applying customer experience best practices, libraries, and frameworks to produce high-quality design and deliver exceptional user experience.
• Maintain rigorous standards of design excellence, ensuring interfaces are both functional and visually intuitive.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and incorporate innovative design practices to maintain the application as a best-in-class productivity tool.
• Cross-Team Collaboration
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and users to deliver design solutions aligned with business objectives and user needs
• when external vendor solutions are sourced, the BA should play an important role in bridging the gap between the business units and the external vendor in detailing the requirements and ensure proper understanding of same by the vendor
• Understands end to end Program/Project lifecycle and various stages within it.
• Hands on in Jira, Rally, or similar tools for Requirement management as well as Project Lifecycle management.

Qualifications :

• A Degree in Computer related field is a must. Written and spoken English is essential.
• CBAP preferable.
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years experience in a BA role.
