The Senior Business Analyst will own the Scenario Library and BRD readiness activities, manage requirements and scenario detail, coordinate clinical/business stakeholder sign-offs, and ensure requirements are clear for vendor scoping and quotation.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the Scenario Library and ensure scenarios are written in clear user story format with detail, edge cases, and ownership.
- Maintain and evolve the Business Requirements Document and support the Master Open Decisions Register.
- Translate ratified scenarios into RFP-ready requirements for implementation partner and subcontracted technology partner scoping.
- Maintain naming, ID consistency, and version discipline across BRD, scenario, decision, and risk documents.
- Prepare scenario-specific companion documents for NDA-gated command-centre partners where required.
- Support the Risks and Assumptions Register with clear descriptions, ownership, and mitigation paths.
- Work closely with the Solution Architect to ensure business scenarios translate into technical architecture decisions.
- Work closely with Product Management so validated requirements can inform backlog and sprint planning activities.
Minimum Experience and Skills
- Minimum 6+ years of Business Analysis experience.
- At least 2 years in healthcare, insurance, or a clinically regulated environment.
- Proven experience writing user story-format requirements and scenario/use-case libraries for complex platforms.
- Experience maintaining BRDs, open decision registers, RACI-style ownership models, and requirement traceability documentation.
- Ability to work with clinical, legal, technology, and senior stakeholder groups.
- Familiarity with triage, severity frameworks, emergency response protocols, or clinical escalation pathways is preferred.
- Track record of preparing requirements for RFP or vendor scoping purposes.
