Senior Business Analyst – Institutional Banking Transformation

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong institutional banking experience to support major transformation initiatives across banking and financial services clients.

This role will work closely with senior stakeholders, consulting teams, and delivery squads to define business requirements, improve processes, and bridge the gap between business and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with senior stakeholders to understand business challenges and transformation priorities.
• Lead requirements gathering workshops and process discovery sessions.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, process maps, and user stories.
• Support transformation initiatives across corporate banking, transaction banking, treasury, lending, capital markets, risk, operations, and regulatory programs.
• Analyse current processes and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and automation.
• Work closely with consulting, product, and technology teams to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
• Support UAT, business validation, and change management activities.
• Prepare business cases, reports, and executive presentations.

Skills & Experience

• 6-12 years of experience in Business Analysis, Consulting, Transformation, or Banking Operations.
• Strong institutional banking experience across two or more of the following:
• Corporate Banking
• Transaction Banking
• Treasury
• Lending
• Capital Markets
• Risk & Compliance
• Banking Operations
• Trade Finance
• Retail and SME Banking
• Strong understanding of banking products, processes, and operational workflows.
• Experience delivering large-scale transformation programs within banking or financial services.
• Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working across the full project lifecycle from discovery through to implementation and deployment.

Desirable Experience

• Experience within consulting environments or enterprise transformation programs.
• Exposure to digital banking, workflow automation, AI, or data transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and governance frameworks.
• Experience supporting regulatory or compliance-driven programs.
