Job Overview

Straive is looking for a Sr. Business Analyst / Consultant to join our Advanced Analytics team. This role is designed for a technically proficient analyst who can bridge the gap between complex data ecosystems and strategic business decisions. You will leverage your expertise in Python, SQL, and Data Visualization to extract insights from vast datasets, build analytical prototypes, and consult with global stakeholders to drive measurable ROI.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Consulting: Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical squads, translating high-level business problems into specific analytical workstreams.
• Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA): Perform deep-dive analysis using Python and SQL to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities within complex enterprise datasets.
• Solution Prototyping: Build and validate rapid analytical prototypes and proof-of-concepts (PoCs) to demonstrate the potential value of AI and data-driven solutions.
• Insight Storytelling: Design and manage executive-level dashboards that simplify complex data into actionable narratives for C-suite decision-makers.
• Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in existing client data workflows and recommend automation or architectural improvements to enhance reliability and speed.
• Stakeholder Management: Lead client workshops to define project scope, KPIs, and success criteria for large-scale analytics engagements.

Technical Expertise/Qualifications Required

• Professional Experience: 2–4 years of experience in Management Consulting, Technical Analysis, or Data Analytics roles.
• Programming Mastery: High proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) for data manipulation and SQL for complex relational database querying.
• Data Visualization: Advanced hands-on experience with Power BI or Tableau, with a focus on creating intuitive, interactive, and high-impact reports.
• Analytical Frameworks: Proven experience in structured problem-solving (MECE) and the ability to apply statistical methods to business challenges.
• Cloud Awareness: Familiarity with cloud-native data environments such as Azure (Fabric/Synapse) or AWS is a strong advantage.
• Business Acumen: Ability to understand industry-specific KPIs, particularly in sectors like Financial Services, Insurance, or Life Sciences.
