Role Overview
We are seeking aBusiness Development Executiveto join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have proven hands-on experience inbusiness development within software development or SaaS solutions, with the capability togrow existing accounts while opening new ones.
The candidate should bewell connected in the GCC regionand have astrong professional network with potential prospectsthat can be targeted immediately. The role requires the ability topresent a business development plan and demonstrate tangible results within 23 months.
This position will start as acontract-based role, with the opportunity for apermanent positionupon successful achievement of KPIs and business targets. Preference will be given to candidates whoalready hold a valid UAE visa and are currently residing in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across software development, SaaS, and digital commerce solutions.
- Expand and grow existing client accountsby identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Leverage astrong GCC networkto bring in immediate new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Lead client meetings, prepare tailored proposals, and negotiate commercial agreements.
- Develop and present aclear business development plan, ensuring measurable progress within the first 23 months.
- Collaborate with internal teams (technical, delivery, and marketing) to align offerings with client needs.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to refine go-to-market strategies.
- Track business pipeline, forecast revenue, and report progress regularly to leadership.
- Represent Khaleej Digital Group at industry events, networking sessions, and client workshops.
Profile & Requirements
- Experience:5-10+ years of proven experience inbusiness development for software development firms, IT consulting, or SaaS providers.
- Account Growth:Demonstrated success ingrowing existing client portfoliosas well as acquiring new accounts.
- Network:Well connected in theGCC region, with an existing network of potential prospects.
- Skills:Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills with a track record of closing high-value deals.
- Business Planning:Ability toprepare and execute a BD planwith tangible results within 23 months.
- Location:Alreadybased in the UAEwith a valid visa (mandatory requirement).
- Education:Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field. MBA is a plus.
- Languages:Proficiency in English is required. Arabic is a plus.
- Mindset:Self-starter, entrepreneurial, and target-driven, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
