What is Yomn

Yomn is a new breed of consultancy dedicated to social impact, economic development, and innovation. Our ultimate goal is improving peoples lives - including but not limited to health, climate change, education, women empowerment, sustainable tourism, arts & culture, etc. With three offices located in Egypt and Saudi Arabia and over 30 employees, we engage with prestigious government agencies, corporations, NGOs, and non-profit organizations. We help these clients understand what their stakeholders social needs are and execute effective initiatives that address those.

Who are we looking for

We are seeking a SeniorBusiness Developer with 4-7 years of experience to drive the growth and expansion of our business.

You should be well-rounded and strongly experienced in identifying and securing new business opportunities, managing proposals, quotations, and tenders, and building strong client relationships in at least one of these verticals: 1. Strategy & Innovation, 2. Social Impact, 3. Public Initiatives & Events, 4. Marketing and Communication, 5. Digital services

A key focus will be on managing demand and delivering projects for clients in Saudi Arabia, working closely with both local and international stakeholders.

You should have a strong marketing background skilled in developing business through marketing initiatives, exploring new acquisition channels, and managing social media platforms.

Most importantly, you love working in a startup environment where things change very fast and you have a direct impact on the success of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify new opportunities on Etimad (10%): Regularly monitor and screen the Etimad platform (primary source of Saudi government project awards) for relevant opportunities aligned with our capabilities.

Develop proposals for RFPs & improve process (60%): Lead the development of tailored, high-quality proposals that differentiate Yomn from competitors. Enhance the proposal process with improved tools, templates, and workflows.

Explore new tender channels (10%): Identify and test alternative lead generation channels beyond Etimad, such as social media, industry events, and strategic partnerships.

Cross-functional collaboration (10%): Work with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery and client satisfaction.

Market & competitor research (5%): Analyze trends and competitor activity to identify emerging business opportunities.

Representation & networking (5%): Represent Yomn in client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities to strengthen relationships and visibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 47years of work experience in business development or related roles
  • Strong Experience in at least 1 vertical: 1. Strategy & Innovation, 2. Social Impact, 3. Public Initiatives & Events, 4. Marketing and Communication, 5. Digital services
  • Proven track record in managing proposals, tenders, and RFPs
  • Background in marketing, with hands-on experience in developing business through marketing initiatives, identifying new channels, and managing social media platforms
  • Experience with demand generation in Saudi Arabia (strong plus)
  • Startup experience with a proven ability to work in fast-paced, on-demand environments
  • Fluent in both English and Arabic
  • Based in Cairo, Egypt
