Job Description
The Senior BI Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining executive dashboards and analytical reports to support informed decision-making across the organization. The role focuses on transforming financial, HR, procurement, and other related business data into actionable insights using Business Intelligence and analytics platforms Business Intelligence Specialist
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and analytical reports to support executive and operational decision-making.
- Build and maintain analytical models, dataflows, and semantic layers to enable reliable and scalable reporting.
- Analyze financial, HR, procurement, and related business data to identify trends, variances, and performance insights.
- Develop and maintain standardized KPIs and performance metrics aligned with business objectives.
- Translate business requirements into effective BI and analytics solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reconciliation between BI reports and source systems.
- Collaborate with IT, Finance, HR, Procurement, and other stakeholders to support reporting and analytics needs.
- Support documentation of dashboards, reports, data models, and user guides.
- Continuously enhance BI solutions based on business feedback and evolving requirements
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.
- Strong experience in data analysis and reporting across financial, HR, procurement, and related business domains.
- Solid understanding of data structures, KPIs, and performance reporting.
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance, HR, Procurement).
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric analytics capabilities.
- Familiarity with Azure data and analytics services (e.g., Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Factory).
- Python for data analysis and data preparation (preferred).
- Experience in corporate or enterprise-level reporting environments.
