We're Hiring: Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner (Systems & Process Design)
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia | Type: Full-Time, Onsite
About Us
We are a dynamic organization operating across multiple sectors and business lines. Our diverse, highly integrated operations include:
- Marketing & Lead Generation
- Fleet Management & Transportation
- Manpower & Workforce Services
- Service Operations & Execution
Operating in a fast-paced, complex, and multi-domain environment, we require seamless alignment between our business operations and our technology. To support this, we are building a structured, system-driven organization powered by ERP systems (ERPNext), custom-built applications (web & mobile), and third-party solutions.
Role Overview
We are looking for a high-impact Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner to design, structure, prioritize, and document end-to-end business solutions across our entire organization.
This role goes far beyond standard ERP implementation. You will manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, defining holistic solutions that utilize ERPNext, custom applications, and third-party platforms. Your ultimate mission is to transform complex business needs into clear, structured, and fully documented solution designs that our Agile IT team can directly and flawlessly implement.
What This Role Really Means
This role requires a senior, system-level thinker who can manage the product backlog and design complete operational ecosystems.
- You will work across multiple business domains (Fleet, Manpower, Marketing, Operations).
- You will design end-to-end processes and re-engineer existing ones, not just build isolated features.
- You will ensure systems are integrated, scalable, and fully aligned with real-world operations.
- You will think beyond the software, focusing deeply on how the business actually runs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Understanding & Gap Analysis
- Work hands-on with stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across all departments.
- Conduct deep gap analysis to identify operational bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Define razor-sharp problem statements and business objectives.
2. Product Backlog & Lifecycle Management
- Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle.
- Manage, groom, and prioritize the product backlog to ensure the most critical business needs are delivered first.
3. Process Analysis & Re-engineering
- Document current workflows (AS-IS) and design optimized, re-engineered processes (TO-BE).
- Build clear, highly visual process maps and wireframes.
4. Solution Design (Core Responsibility)
- Design complete solutions encompassing workflows, business rules, user journeys, and roles & responsibilities.
- Collaborate with IT to determine the best approach: ERP-based, custom application, or hybrid architecture.
5. Requirements Documentation (Critical Deliverable)
- Prepare comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), leaving nothing to guesswork. This includes:
- Process Maps & Wireframes
- Functional Requirements & Business Rules
- Agile User Stories & Acceptance Criteria
- Edge Cases & Exceptions
6. Flawless Handover to IT in an Agile Environment
- Present solutions clearly to the Solution Architect, Head of Development, and Agile/Scrum engineering teams.
- The standard:No ambiguity. No assumptions.
7. UAT & Validation
- Define clear acceptance criteria and support testing with QA and business users.
Key Deliverables
Every solution you touch must result in:
- Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)
- Process Maps & Wireframes (Visual)
- Well-Defined Agile User Stories
- Integration Requirements & Workflows
- UAT Scenarios
What This Role Is NOT
- Not a developer role.
- Not limited to ERPNext.
- Not a documentation-only or administrative position.
- Not a passive coordinator.
- This is an active, hands-on product ownership and business transformation role.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience:8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or in Systems Transformation.
- Methodology: Strong expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies and end-to-end product lifecycle management.
- Core Capabilities: Proven ability in business requirement gathering, writing user stories, process mapping, process re-engineering, and conducting gap analysis.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Hands-on experience working closely and effectively with senior stakeholders, SMEs, and development teams.
- Documentation & Visualization: Exceptional analytical and documentation skills, with heavy experience preparing BRDs, workflows, and wireframes (using tools like Lucidchart, Miro, Visio, or Figma/Balsamiq).
- Technical Exposure: Experience operating in multi-system environments involving ERPs (ERPNext is a plus) and custom applications.
Critical Competencies
- Systems Thinking: Ability to see the big picture while managing the granular details of the backlog.
- Ownership & Accountability: Taking full responsibility for the product from concept to deployment.
- Communication: Elite ability to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical developers.
What Success Looks Like
- IT can build without confusion.
- Minimal rework due to well-groomed backlogs and clear requirements.
- Systems are perfectly aligned with real, on-the-ground business operations.
Our Key Principle: If IT needs to ask a lot of questions, the Business Analyst's output is not complete.
Our Operating Model: BA/PO = Design & Logic (The Brain) | IT = Build & Implementation (The Engine)
