We are actively looking for a Senior Buyer to join our Commercial team,
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage product and supplier selection within assigned categories.
- Plan, forecast, and report on sales and business performance.
- Control category budgets, including sales, profitability, and inventory targets.
- Maintain healthy stock turns and manage inventory performance.
- Lead supplier negotiations to secure competitive pricing and commercial terms.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends, customer demand, and competitor activities.
- Coordinate and implement promotional and advertising initiatives.
- Evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with purchasing policies, procedures, and business objectives.
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree from a reputable university.
- Minimum 5 years of retail buying experience.
- Strong proficiency in Arabic and English.
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen.
- Advanced Excel and reporting skills.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Experience in sales forecasting and inventory management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Results-oriented with high integrity and accountability.
