Role Description The Senior Carpenter role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Senior Carpenter will interpret drawings and measurements, plan work sequences, and lead the installation of custom wood interiors, including cabinetry, doors, panels, and decorative elements. Daily responsibilities include cutting, shaping, and assembling wood components, performing finish carpentry, and ensuring precise alignment and high-quality surface treatments. The role involves safe and efficient use of hand tools and power tools, supervising junior carpenters, coordinating with site supervisors and designers, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. The Senior Carpenter is expected to meet project timelines, adhere to safety standards, and contribute to continuous improvement in methods and finishes.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong carpentry skills, including structural and decorative work.
• Candidates should possess experience in finish carpentry, including high-quality trims, joinery, and surface finishing.
• Candidates should possess confident use of machinery and hand tools such as saws, chisels, planes, and measuring tools.
• Relevant experience as a senior or lead carpenter in interior fit-out or joinery environments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to safety practices.
• Capability to guide and mentor junior carpenters and coordinate with site teams.
• Previous experience in bespoke or high-end interior projects in the UAE or GCC region is an advantage.
