Job Description

Job Purpose

Monitor and supervise Quality of Life (QoL) programs and strategic initiatives, ensuring execution,

reporting, and stakeholder alignment in accordance with approved plans and Authority priorities.

Strategy

  • Propose Quality of Life programs and initiatives (according to the approved criteria) aligned with the comprehensive plan and transport pillar within the strategy, in coordination with concerned organizational units across RTA.
  • Oversee strategic Quality of Life files; supervise rural initiatives and escalate committee/taskforce challenges as required.
  • Analyze the impact of Authority projects on Quality-of-Life competitive indicators and recommend improvement actions.
  • Prepare a communication plan with periodic field visits and identify new initiatives that raise Quality of Life across the Authority.
  • Advise and recommend on policies, strategies, and topics related to rural areas; provide solutions and guidance.

Operations

  • Follow up committees and teams progress on Quality-of-Life programs; monitor developments, evaluate commitment to plans, and report results.
  • Prepare department site visits and reports for Quality-of-Life programs and initiatives.
  • Manage projects related to the important files on the city level, coordinating schedules, interfaces, and technical deliverables with concerned entities.
  • Build internal capability and knowledge transfer by conducting technical sessions and workshops for department staff.
  • Coordinate inputs and documentation for the department's Internal Audit requirements and timely submissions.
  • Coordinate field-visit logistics, stakeholder briefings, and post-visit action tracking under the communication plan.
  • Consolidate source data and evidence supporting competitive-indicator analysis and recommended actions.

Product / Process Improvement

  • Systematize the pipeline from field-visit findings into initiative proposals and committee action plans.
  • Strengthen impact-on-indicators analysis and track implementation of improvement recommendations Authority-wide.
  • Maintain Internal Audit readiness through an evidence repository, responsibility matrices, and closure verification.

Physical Working Conditions

  • Regular field visits and site inspections are required to review project progress, assess technical compliance, and prepare reports on Quality-of-Life initiatives.

Job Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree/ master's degree/Ph.D. in Engineering

Experience

  • 9+ Years in case of master's degree, 11+ years in case of bachelor's degree
