Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Civil 3D BIM Modeler to join our growing BIM team in Dubai. The role focuses on developing and managing BIM models for infrastructure and utility projects within a multidisciplinary design environment. The successful candidate will contribute to coordinated project delivery while ensuring compliance with BIM standards, authority requirements, and project workflows.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage 3D BIM models for wet and dry utilities using Autodesk Civil 3D.
- Create alignments, profiles, pipe networks, and corridor models.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and clash-free design delivery.
- Perform clash detection using Navisworks and support resolution of coordination issues.
- Extract drawings, sections, schedules, and quantity take-offs from BIM models.
- Ensure compliance with BIM standards, BEP requirements, and authority regulations.
- Support project teams in maintaining BIM workflows and model coordination processes.
- Participate in technical coordination meetings and model reviews.
- Maintain high standards of model accuracy, QA/QC, and documentation consistency.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Civil 3D and BIM modeling.
- Strong hands-on experience with Autodesk Civil 3D.
- Experience in utility modeling and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Good understanding of BIM workflows, standards, and QA/QC processes.
- Experience with Navisworks for clash detection and coordination.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience working on infrastructure projects within the UAE or GCC region.
- Familiarity with local authority requirements such as DEWA, RTA, and Dubai Municipality.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary consultancy environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality delivery.
