Job Title: Senior Civil / BIM Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil / BIM Engineer to lead the modeling, coordination, and delivery of civil and infrastructure BIM works across major projects.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC/BIM 360), with proven experience delivering large-scale infrastructure projects involving roads, highways, bridges, wet utilities, and site works.
Key Responsibilities
1. Civil & Infrastructure BIM Model Development
- Develop and maintain accurate, constructible Civil 3D / Revit models to LOD 300–500.
- Model roads, highways, bridges, water, sewer, stormwater, TSE, grading, and site works.
- Integrate survey/COGO data, alignments, corridors, profiles, surfaces, and civil interfaces.
- Translate engineering design intent into coordinated 3D models and incorporate design changes and RFI outcomes.
2. Clash Detection & Multidisciplinary Coordination
- Lead federated model coordination using Navisworks Manage / ACC Model Coordination.
- Identify, track, and resolve clashes across Civil, Structural, MEP, Landscape, and other disciplines.
- Maintain clash reports, coordination logs, and issue trackers.
- Drive technical issues through to closure with relevant discipline leads and site teams.
3. BIM Standards & QA/QC
- Support implementation and compliance with the BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
- Ensure adherence to naming conventions, work-sharing, modeling standards, LOD/LOI requirements, and project procedures.
- Conduct model QA/QC, including coordinates, parameters, model health, exports, and data validation.
- Apply ISO 19650 principles and relevant GCC/local standards.
4. Deliverables & Site Support
- Produce model-based shop drawings, traffic diversion plans, quantity take-offs, earthwork volumes, and 4D sequencing information.
- Support as-built / record model development through redline integration and survey verification.
- Provide BIM-based support for construction sequencing, RFIs, field verification, and technical coordination.
5. Technical Leadership & Mentoring
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior BIM modelers, technicians, and draftsmen.
- Review model outputs for technical accuracy, constructability, and standards compliance.
- Represent the Civil BIM function in coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and client representatives.
- Coordinate closely with Architecture, Structural, MEP, and Landscape BIM leads.
6. Data Management & FM Handover
- Support COBie asset data population and validation for civil/infrastructure assets.
- Manage civil model versions, file structures, and publishing within the project CDE.
- Contribute to BIM standards, templates, workflows, and reusable content libraries.
Required Technical Skills
- Advanced / Expert: Autodesk Civil 3D and Revit
- Advanced: Navisworks Manage / ACC Model Coordination
- AutoCAD and Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360
- Strong knowledge of roads, highways, bridges, utilities, grading, and site development
- Survey / COGO data integration, alignments, profiles, corridors, and surfaces
- Federated model coordination and clash detection
- BIM QA/QC and model auditing
- ISO 19650 and BIM Execution Plan principles
- CDE workflows and document/model information management
- COBie and FM handover workflows
- Dynamo and Power BI awareness is an advantage
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Technology, or a related discipline.
- 12+ years of experience in BIM modeling/engineering for civil and infrastructure projects.
- Proven hands-on experience on large-scale GCC projects.
- Experience with roads, highways, bridges, wet utilities, and site infrastructure.
- Autodesk Certified Professional certification in Civil 3D / Revit / Navisworks is preferred.
- ISO 19650 awareness/certification is an advantage.
