Senior Civil Engineer

Position Purpose

The Civil Engineer supports the planning, coordination, and execution of civil and structural engineering projects within Coca‑Cola Hellenic facilities. The role assists in ensuring that all project activities meet company standards, regulatory requirements, and established timelines. This position is designed for early‑career engineers who are developing their technical and project management capabilities while contributing to the improvement of plant infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Project Support & Coordination

• Assist in preparing project scopes, cost estimates, schedules, and technical documentation.
• Support the execution of construction, renovation, and infrastructure projects across assigned sites.
• Participate in reviewing engineering drawings, BOQs, and tender documents.
• Track project progress and support reporting activities for internal stakeholders.

Technical Assistance

• Conduct routine site inspections to monitor work quality, progress, and compliance with specifications.
• Support the evaluation of civil/structural conditions and contribute to maintenance planning.
• Assist in resolving technical issues related to civil works and facility infrastructure.

Contractor & Stakeholder Interaction

• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure adherence to project requirements.
• Support internal communication with Operations, Quality, Safety, and Supply Chain teams.
• Participate in contractor performance reviews and documentation processes.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all project activities comply with Coca‑Cola Hellenic HSE standards and local regulations.
• Promote safe work practices and support risk assessments for project activities.
• Contribute to sustainability and environmental compliance initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in civil engineering, construction, or industrial project environments.
• Experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments is an advantage but not required.
• Basic knowledge of civil/structural design principles and construction methodologies.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; familiarity with MS Project is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, multinational environment
