Senior Civil Engineer

About the Role

MOBCO Group is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to support the execution and technical management of major construction projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have proven experience working on mega or large-scale construction projects and strong knowledge of civil engineering, site execution, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage civil construction activities in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project disciplines to ensure smooth execution.
• Review drawings, specifications, method statements, and technical documents before and during construction.
• Monitor site progress, productivity, manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Ensure civil works are executed according to approved quality standards and project specifications.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, MEP, and other disciplines to resolve technical and site-related issues.
• Identify and resolve construction problems and provide appropriate technical solutions.
• Monitor subcontractor activities and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements and UAE regulations.
• Assist in planning construction activities and maintaining project schedules.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure proper implementation of approved construction methodologies.
• Prepare progress reports and provide technical updates to project management.
• Support the Project Manager/Construction Manager in achieving project milestones and successful project completion.

Requirements

• 12+ years of relevant civil engineering experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• Proven experience working on mega or large-scale construction projects in the UAE.
• Strong experience in major building, infrastructure, high-rise, hospitality, residential, or other complex construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, engineering standards, quality requirements, and site execution.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Must hold a transferable UAE visa/residence (transferable ID).
• Candidates currently based in the UAE are strongly preferred.
• Candidates must be available and ready to join/transfer in Dubai.
• Immediate or short-term availability will be an advantage.
