Job title: Senior Civil Engineer

Job Purpose:
The role involves reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager (PM) and ensuring the timely execution of civil works while preparing various project management reports for decision-making insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow up the running civil works execution against time schedule and project documents.
- Follow up any corrective measures required.
- Responsible to prepare various project management reports for decision making insight of Project Manager and Senior Management.
- Work closely with the various departments of the terminal to estimate and plan projects in an agile environment.
- Interact with senior management for reporting.
- Assist the PM in interface with senior management and other peers for strategy development and execution planning.
- Assist the PM in planning and prioritization based on technical feasibility and engineering constraints.
- Keep track of schedules for timely completion of contracts.
- Provide technical assistance and consult with other departments regarding engineering functions and site development.
- Provide quality engineering reports, calculations, figures, design drawings, specifications and cost estimates when required.
- Assist the PM in cost control and work completion within budget and time schedules.
- Prepare and approve designs for engineering projects in accordance with general engineering principles and standards; determine scope, designs, prepares drawings, specifications, bidding documents, contracts, and cost estimates; conduct and coordinate design and construction activities.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 5 years minimum experience in infrastructure and buildings.
- Degree in Civil Engineering.
Required Skills
- Experience in project management.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Good communication skill in English.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office.
- Familiar with Saudi codes and international standards and ensuring compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices and standards.
