About the Role

We Cybers Egypt is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer (Azure) to join our growing team. This role is critical to delivering enterprise-grade cloud, security, compliance, and identity services to our customers. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience managing Microsoft cloud platforms with a strong focus on security, identity, compliance, and endpoint protection.

This is a remote position with standard working hours and on-call availability as required.

Working Hours
  • Sunday to Thursday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (Egypt Time)
  • Standby / On-call: Weekends and official holidays, as required

Key Responsibilities

The role requires strong expertise in managing enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, including Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory). The candidate will be responsible for designing and enforcing Conditional Access policies, implementing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), managing Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and overseeing identity governance to ensure secure and compliant access across the organization.

The position also involves implementing, operating, and supporting Microsoft's advanced security platforms. This includes administering Microsoft Defender solutions for endpoints, identities, email and collaboration workloads, cloud applications, and cloud infrastructure, with a focus on threat prevention, detection, investigation, and response.

In addition, the candidate will deploy and manage SIEM and SOAR capabilities using Microsoft Sentinel. Responsibilities include configuring security monitoring and alerting, performing incident investigation and response, conducting proactive threat hunting, and implementing automation to enhance security operations and response efficiency.

The role further requires managing data protection, compliance, and governance solutions. This includes implementing Microsoft Purview Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies, eDiscovery (Standard and Premium), Insider Risk Management, and overseeing audit logging, compliance scoring, and regulatory control enforcement to meet organizational and regulatory requirements.

Finally, the candidate will be responsible for endpoint and device management through Microsoft Intune, ensuring secure configuration and compliance of corporate devices. This includes managing device compliance and configuration policies, application protection policies, and supporting Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms within an enterprise environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft cloud services
  • Strong expertise across Microsoft security, identity, compliance, and endpoint solutions
  • Proven experience managing enterprise-level environments
  • Solid understanding of cloud security architecture and Zero Trust principles
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
