We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and operate scalable and secure infrastructure across cloud and hybrid environments, with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
This role plays a critical part in maintaining highly available and resilient infrastructure supporting mission-critical workloads. The ideal candidate will also bring hands-on experience in virtualization, backup and disaster recovery, and automation technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Engineering & Multi-Cloud Infrastructure
- Design, deploy, and manage production workloads on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Implement secure and scalable hybrid cloud architectures.
- Manage core cloud services including compute, networking, storage, IAM, and security controls.
- Support cloud migration initiatives and multi-cloud operations across GCP, AWS, and OCI.
- Monitor cloud performance, availability, and cost optimization.
Virtualization & Infrastructure Management
- Administer VMware environments including vSphere and ESXi.
- Manage Linux-based infrastructure environments.
- Implement high availability solutions and load balancing mechanisms.
- Perform infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and expansions.
Backup, Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity
- Design and maintain backup and replication strategies using Veeam.
- Conduct disaster recovery testing and real recovery operations.
- Implement secure data protection practices including encryption and immutability.
Automation & Platform Operations
- Automate infrastructure deployment using Terraform and Ansible.
- Develop operational scripts using Bash and Python.
- Manage containerized workloads using Docker.
Security & Compliance
- Implement security hardening aligned with NCA and CIS standards.
- Manage identity, access controls, certificates, and encryption mechanisms.
- Configure and maintain web application firewall and security controls.
Monitoring & Reliability
- Deploy and maintain monitoring and observability platforms.
- Support incident response and root cause analysis.
- Ensure high availability and reliability across infrastructure environments.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in Cloud or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with GCP.
- Proven experience in VMware and enterprise backup solutions.
- Strong Linux administration skills.
- Experience in scripting and automation.

- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Engineer
- RHCSA / RHCE
