NOW HIRING A SENIOR COMMERCIAL & CONTRACTS MANAGER
Our client is a leading Master Developer specialising in hospitality, mixed use, residential & infrastructure projects.
The position:
A senior leadership role overseeing all contracts and commercial matters across multiple projects at different stages, from master planning through to handover. Working closely with internal teams to ensure contracts are properly managed, risks are controlled and commercial value is maximised.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all contracts and commercial activities across multiple projects from master planning through to handover
- Draft, negotiate and finalise all consultant and contractor contracts
- Ensure contracts align with company standards, regulations and commercial objectives
- Manage variations, claims, extensions of time and final accounts
- Identify commercial risk early and put practical solutions in place
- Work closely with legal to resolve contractual issues and disputes
- Set up and manage project budgets, cost plans and cash flow forecasts
- Monitor cost performance and report on variances and risks
- Support project teams with commercial advice throughout delivery
- Lead negotiations with consultants, contractors and suppliers
- Ensure all bonds, guarantees, insurances and warranties are in place and valid
- Provide regular commercial and contract reports to senior management
- Maintain clear and accurate contract records and documentation
- Support procurement strategy and appointment of consultants and contractors
- Build strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners
Requirements:
- 18+ years experience
- 3+ years UAE experience
- 2+ years UAE Developer experience
- 2+ years in a regional or head of department capacity
- Experience managing multiple projects valued up to AED 1bn
- Pre & post contract experience
- Hold a relevant industry degree
