Job Description

A government entity is seeking an experienced Senior Communications Specialist to manage and enhance its public image and communications efforts. The role focuses on strategic storytelling, media relations, and highquality content creation across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage media relations, including press releases, interviews, and coordination with PR agencies.
  • Create, edit, and oversee content for press materials, digital platforms, newsletters, and social media.
  • Develop engaging Arabic and English content, including translation and copywriting.
  • Support crisis communication planning and execution.
  • Drive internal communications to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
  • Contribute to PR and communications strategy development and performance measurement (KPIs, ROI).
  • Coordinate digital content across websites and social media channels in line with brand guidelines.
  • Represent the organization at relevant events and industry engagements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Must be Qatari National
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in communications, PR, or media relations.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
  • Strong copywriting, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Proven experience in media relations and stakeholder management.
  • Knowledge of digital analytics tools (e.g., SEO, Google Analytics).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
