Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a senior compliance advisor to business stakeholders across Product, BD, Marketing, Operations, Institutional, VIP, and regional teams.
  • Provide regulatory guidance on new product launches, commercial initiatives, partnerships, customer journeys, and business model changes.
  • Assess regulatory implications for expansion into new jurisdictions, including licensing considerations, conduct requirements, and operational compliance risks.
  • Support oversight and coordination of local Compliance Officers, helping align advisory positions, escalation practices, and regulatory interpretations across markets.
  • Partner closely with Legal, Regulatory Compliance, AML, Risk, and Audit teams on cross-functional regulatory matters.
  • Support regulatory inspections, supervisory engagements, remediation programmes, and internal governance reviews where advisory input is required.
  • Help identify emerging regulatory risks and provide actionable guidance to business stakeholders.
  • Drive consistency in advisory documentation, governance practices, decision-making frameworks, and internal compliance standards.
  • Act as a key stakeholder in shaping compliance knowledge systems, advisory workflows, and internal tooling requirements.
  • Deputise for the Chief Compliance Officer where required.
  • Demonstrated interest in, and practical adoption of, AI technologies to enhance compliance, regulatory, or operational effectiveness will be viewed very favourably.

Requirements

  • 6–10+ years of compliance experience within financial services, fintech, brokerage, capital markets, payments, or digital assets.
  • Strong background in compliance advisory, regulatory compliance, or business-facing compliance roles.
  • Proven experience advising senior business stakeholders on product, commercial, and regulatory matters.
  • Experience handling complex cross-border regulatory issues and multi-jurisdiction compliance matters.
  • Strong working knowledge of licensing frameworks, conduct risk, regulatory perimeter analysis, and business compliance controls.
  • Ability to operate independently and exercise sound regulatory judgment in ambiguous environments.
  • Demonstrated interest in, and practical adoption of, AI technologies to enhance compliance, regulatory, or operational effectiveness will be viewed very favourably.
  • Deep interest in the crypto and digital assets industry, coupled with the ability to navigate its evolving regulatory landscape, is required.
