Senior Compliance Lawyer

Senior Compliance Lawyer - 6-12 month assignment

We're seeking an experienced Senior Compliance Lawyer to provide interim support to a well-established in-house legal team within a major UAE based organisation operating across multiple international markets, to head up their Compliance function.

The role will involve:

• Helping to establish the Compliance function alongside the legal team.
• Providing day-to-day guidance on compliance, ethics, AML, anti-bribery, and whistleblowing matters.
• Drafting, reviewing, and updating global compliance and ethics policies.
• Assisting with internal training sessions and awareness programmes.
• Offering practical, risk-based advice to internal stakeholders on compliance and conduct-related issues.

Ideal Profile:

• 8+ years PQE admitted in a major international jurisdiction.
• Experienced in setting up and establishing compliance functions.
• Experience with ethics, AML, anti-bribery, and global compliance frameworks.
• Strong written and communication skills; able to advise clearly and pragmatically.
• Based in Dubai and able to work on-site.
• Available immediately.
