A well-established financial services group in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Compliance Manager to support and strengthen its Compliance function.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Compliance & Audit, this role plays a key part in maintaining and enhancing the Group's compliance framework, with particular focus on regulatory compliance, AML/CFT, sanctions, and financial crime prevention.
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and enhancement of the Group's compliance framework
- Oversee AML/CFT and financial crime compliance programmes
- Conduct regulatory horizon scanning and assess the impact of new regulations
- Support regulatory reporting, filings, and engagement
- Review AML/Sanctions alerts and high-risk client cases
- Oversee transaction monitoring activities
- Assist with SAR/STR assessments and reporting to the UAE FIU
- Prepare compliance reports for Senior Management and Board Committees
- Contribute to compliance monitoring reviews and internal training initiatives
- Act as MLRO in the absence of the appointed MLRO (where required)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or related field
Required Skills
- Professional certifications such as ICA, CAMS, or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 5 years experience in Compliance within financial institutions
- Strong understanding of applicable regional regulatory frameworks
- Experience within ADGM-regulated entities is highly preferred
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
