Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the ideation and development of creative concepts for various projects, including branding campaigns, product designs, events, and digital experiences, ensuring alignment with client objectives and market trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, marketing strategists, and project managers, to ensure concepts are feasible, innovative, and meet project goals.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to inform the development of fresh and impactful design concepts that resonate with target audiences.
  • Develop and present detailed concept proposals, including mood boards, sketches, prototypes, and storyboards, to clients and stakeholders.
  • Drive the creative direction of projects from initial concept through to execution, ensuring all designs maintain consistency, innovation, and high standards of quality.
  • Mentor and guide junior and mid-level concept developers, providing feedback and helping them refine their creative process.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, technologies, and industry standards to ensure concepts remain relevant and competitive.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions, workshops, and creative meetings to generate new ideas and explore diverse solutions for complex design challenges.
  • Manage multiple concept development projects simultaneously, ensuring that each concept is completed on time and within budget.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, Advertising, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in concept development, creative direction, or a related role, with a strong portfolio showcasing innovative and impactful design concepts.
  • Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Sketch, or other relevant tools.
  • Strong creative and conceptual thinking, with the ability to turn abstract ideas into visual narratives and actionable designs.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to clearly articulate design concepts and strategies to clients, teams, and stakeholders.
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring creative teams, providing constructive feedback and fostering an innovative, collaborative environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of branding, marketing strategies, and audience psychology to ensure designs are strategically sound.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resources across multiple projects.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing client requirements.
