We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Engineer to oversee and manage construction projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, project management, and site supervision, ensuring successful execution of projects in compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
- Oversee site activities, including resource allocation, subcontractor coordination, and construction progress monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with UAE construction codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with design teams, architects, and consultants to address technical challenges.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality and adherence to project specifications.
- Prepare and review project documentation, including reports, contracts, and permits.
- Implement risk management strategies and proactively resolve construction-related issues.
- Optimize construction methods and materials to improve project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead, mentor, and train junior engineers and site staff.
- Ensure proper communication and coordination between stakeholders, including clients, government authorities, and suppliers.
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (BS) Mandatory
- ESTIDAMA certification Advantageous but not mandatory
- Master's degree Advantageous but not mandatory
Experience
- 1215 years of relevant experience in UAE Mandatory
- Proven experience in Civil Construction, Infrastructure Development, and High-Rise Buildings
- Experience handling government projects
- Knowledge of Quality, Health & Safety standards
