Job Description

The Senior Construction Manager is responsible for leading, planning, coordinating, and supervising all construction activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. The role involves managing multiple teams, subcontractors, consultants, and ensuring smooth site operations across all project phases.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Coordination

  • Lead overall construction planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Develop project execution plans, construction methodologies, and timelines.
  • Coordinate with design, engineering, procurement, and commercial teams.

2. Site Management

  • Oversee day-to-day site activities to ensure progress meets the project schedule.
  • Resolve site-related technical issues efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and project documentation.

3. Team Leadership

  • Manage site engineers, supervisors, foremen, and subcontractor teams.
  • Conduct regular site meetings and progress reviews.
  • Mentor junior engineers and improve team performance.

4. Budget & Cost Control

  • Monitor project costs and minimize wastage.
  • Support QS/Commercial teams with variations and claims.
  • Ensure subcontractors work within approved budgets.

5. Quality Assurance

  • Ensure all workmanship meets project and industry standards
