The project:

This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure.
Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high-calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to join a high-profile, large-scale development currently in the delivery phase. Working as part of an integrated delivery partner team, this role will be responsible for leading on-site construction activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery across multiple work packages.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Lead and oversee day-to-day construction operations across assigned areas, ensuring delivery in line with programme, budget, and quality expectations.

  • Act as a key interface between contractors, consultants, and the wider delivery partner team to drive coordination and resolve site issues.

  • Monitor contractor performance, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, methodologies, and approved construction plans.

  • Champion health, safety, and environmental standards, embedding a proactive safety culture across all site activities.

  • Review and validate construction methodologies, sequencing, and logistics plans to support efficient delivery.

  • Manage and coordinate interface points between disciplines, packages, and stakeholders to minimise disruption and rework.

  • Provide leadership and direction to Construction Managers and site teams, fostering a high-performance, collaborative environment.

  • Support progress reporting, risk management, and mitigation strategies, ensuring timely escalation of key issues.

  • Contribute to commercial awareness on site, identifying potential risks, variations, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Ensure delivery aligns with project governance, quality standards, and client expectations.

You'll need to have:

  • Degree qualified in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Extensive experience operating at Senior Construction Manager level within major construction or infrastructure projects.

  • Proven track record working within a PMC, consultancy, or delivery partner environment on complex, fast-paced developments.

  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, logistics, and multi-package coordination.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage contractors and drive performance on large-scale site-based projects.

  • Deep commitment to health, safety, and quality standards.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.

  • Experience working on large, technically complex developments is highly desirable.

  • Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high valued projects/ programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
