The project:
This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure.
Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high-calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.
You'll be responsible for:
Monitor on-site construction activities, verifying progress against approved programmes, schedules, and recovery plans while identifying delays, constraints, and productivity issues
Conduct regular site inspections to validate workmanship, sequencing, construction readiness, and contractor/subcontractor performance across all work fronts
Oversee subcontractor coordination and interfaces, identifying clashes, access challenges, and workface conflicts affecting delivery
Facilitate resolution of coordination and interface issues through collaboration with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and stakeholders
Support recovery initiatives by monitoring critical activities, identifying risks to milestones, and recommending resequencing, acceleration, or resource adjustments
Track recovery actions, constraints, and programme alignment to ensure progress toward recovery objectives and timely issue closure
Monitor quality and HSE compliance, identify defects or risks, and support readiness for testing, commissioning, inspections, certification, and handover
Maintain detailed records and reporting on progress, risks, performance, and issues, while coordinating with all stakeholders and escalating critical concerns for management action
You'll need to have:
Degree qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
Minimum 10-15 years experience in construction delivery and site management on major projects.
Strong experience in multidisciplinary construction coordination and subcontractor interface management.
Experience on complex, fast-track, or distressed projects requiring recovery initiatives preferred.
Experience working within client-side or consultant delivery teams preferred.
Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
