Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert consultation, diagnosis, and management of complex gastrointestinal and liver diseases
- Lead and mentor junior medical staff and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high standards of patient care
- Perform advanced endoscopic procedures and liver biopsies as required
- Collaborate with other specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients
- Engage in clinical research, contribute to academic publications, and participate in continuous professional development
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to healthcare policies and standards
Requirements
- Medical degree with specialization in Gastroenterology & Hepatology
- Board certification or equivalent in Gastroenterology & Hepatology
- Minimum of 8 years post-specialization experience, including senior consultant roles
- Proficiency in advanced endoscopic and hepatology procedures
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills
- Valid medical license to practice in Abu Dhabi or the UAE
- Strong commitment to clinical excellence, research, and teaching
