I. Position Summary
The Senior Creative Content Creator is the storytelling engine for our study abroad services. This role is responsible for developing high-
impact, compelling, and authentic content across multiple formats that resonates with prospective international students and their
parents. The creator will translate complex information about universities, admissions, visas, and cultural adaptation into engaging,
relatable, and inspirational narratives that guide, inform, and persuade audiences throughout their educational journey decision-making
process.
II. Key Responsibilities
1. Content Strategy & Development (35%)
Develop a holistic content calendar aligned with the student recruitment cycle, destination intakes, and marketing campaigns.
Produce a wide range of content types:
o Long-form guides: Ultimate Guide to Studying in the Netherlands, How to Write a Winning Personal Statement.
o Student stories & testimonials: Video interviews, written case studies, and social takeovers.
o Blog articles:Focused on admissions tips, destination highlights, scholarship alerts, and career outcomes.
o Email sequences: Nurture leads from inquiry to application.
o Scripts for videos/podcasts:Featuring advisors, alumni, and partner university reps.
Ensure all content is accurate, up-to-date, and reflects current visa regulations and university requirements.
2. Storytelling & Audience Engagement (30%)
Craft narratives that address the emotional and practical concerns of students (e.g., homesickness, career ROI, cultural fit) and
parents (e.g., safety, investment, ROI).
Develop distinctive brand voice guidelines for communicating with a Gen Z/millennial global audience.
Create content that builds trust and positions the company as a knowledgeable and caring advisor.
Repurpose core content into multiple formats (e.g., blog post Instagram carousel newsletter snippet video script).
3. Collaboration & Optimization (20%)
Work closely with the SEO specialist to ensure content is optimized for search intent and target keywords.
Collaborate with the social media manager to create platform-native content that drives engagement and traffic.
Partner with student advisors to gather real-time insights, FAQs, and success stories. Use content performance data (engagement, time on page, conversion rates) to refine content topics and formats.
4. Quality Assurance & Brand Stewardship (15%)
Maintain the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and brand consistency across all content.
Fact-check all information related to universities, programs, costs, and deadlines.
Ensure content is inclusive, culturally sensitive, and representative of diverse student backgrounds.
Mentor junior content creators or freelancers.
III. Qualifications & Requirements
A. Education & Experience
Required: Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, English, or a related field.
Required:Minimum 5+ years of professional content creation experience.
Required: A strong, relevant portfolio demonstrating experience in theeducation, studying abroad, or youth-oriented
service sector.
Required:Samples of writing/video that show an ability to explain complex topics simply and emotionally.
B. Skills & Competencies
Exceptional Writing & Editing: Impeccable grammar, versatile tone, and compelling storytelling ability.
Multimedia Proficiency:Strong skills in at least two areas: writing, video production/editing, audio/podcasting, or visual
storytelling.
Empathy & Cultural Intelligence: Ability to connect with a young, international audience from varied cultures.
Research Skills:Meticulous about accuracy and detail when dealing with educational information.
Collaborative Spirit:Works effectively with marketing, design, and advisory teams.
